Well,
That day is finally here, no more classes of high school, just exams. I dont know what to say, i Have arrived, but I have some mixed feelings. I'm ready to get on with my life, be the real me. This summer holds alot, got some beach trips planned, family vacation, relaxing, pool, and the gym, i've got a big goal set as of now, and I kept my no weight gain promise during the year. Whats happened since, January, Disney!!! amazing..Prom, more amazing, got the RR again this year, and the most amazing date in the world.Hopefully i'll be getting my Harley this summer, that will be bad ass. Soon as exams are over, i'll become a nicer person, kinda stressed right now. Leaving my underclass friends behind will be hard, as my goal says, "these ppl wont recognize me next year" I've found myself accepting a position to play at a church near Wingate, in Monroe. I'll be doing a lot of music directing tasks, without the time involved. I wanna plan a trip to the beach house for my B-day in August, more on that later. Special mention to one of the most incredible people, Brittney, she was one of the greatest ppl that came into my life, and she made my year complete. Next year is gonna be so crazy without her, thats what high-tech web cams are for, however. I'll keep updating my life now that I have more time, im running F/B, myspace, and this. More later |

Life is good. Im back up to the gym almost everyday, trying not to slip up, gotta get to looking better for beach week 2007. I'm getting audition stuff taken care of, now that im excited to, thanks to my new piano. Today starts the winterim experience, no school for 2 weeks except for half an hour. I'll be at IHM with Mary Connolly Monday thru Wednesday for music teaching, it will be strange going back as an almost employee, I wont know many teachers there except a few, which is OK , I can get myself known incase I actually do wanna teach there some day, and work for WANDA. Then on Thursday and Friday i'm working at olg with Sheila,who is my boss now, but its totally different than what I do now, I'm used to getting my music and playing it for mass, but i'll get to go behind the scenes and see what happens that week before I get my music, all the involvement, and whats required of a Music Director, im half way there as an organist, but I wanna take it all the way up. After I graduate from college, I want to get my masters and Doctorate degrees, you can come visit me in New York some day. This winterim stuff has been stressful till now, what with the bitching teachers, and stuff being lost by guidance, but now i'm really looking forward to seeing some of my old friends from IHM, I cant believe some people that were in Kindergarden when I left are in 5th grade now. All for now. I present next Thursday in the 9:00 slot, thats the only time I have to go up there for 2 weeks. Good luck to all with their winterim, see "yous guys" later. |

its finally feeling like christmas. my craziness of 6 masses on christmas is over. Everything always manages to pull together during the performances. I took a big challenge to learn a big showy tocatta to play at the midnight mass, and that went exceptionally well. People actually sat back down after mass to hear it, and I got a round of applause afterward too. Gonna do whatever these next few days, then to myrtle beach. This year I got some musical stuff, ornaments,bed sheets, and a new digital camera. Not to mention my piano. I wasnt expecting so much because of the piano, but o well. I gotta lotta bullshit due when we get back to school, here we go again. All for now, Merry Christmas...Im going to take a well deserved nap. |

Will life ever slow down, never say senior year is all downhill, cuz its so stressful, you got the work plus college choice, then acceptance, and stress all together. Its been one hell of a year so far, amazing in some ways, not in others. Got my busiest christmas yet this year. Rehearsals EVERY day next week, and 7 masses on christmas eve..whew..Bishop chorus joined olg choir for mass today, accompanied by yours truly.I did a wedding yesterday, and got something very cool out of it, everyone was pleased, and that made me happy. It just doesnt feel like christmas, hardly anyone in the neighborhood has decorated, not to mention the 75 degree weather. Maybe it will hit soon, goin to the beach after my work is done on christmas eve/day, give me an unheard of chance to relax, who me, thats how I feel sometimes. I got into ECU, but its becoming a far cry from my plans, I dont wanna give up piano, and i'd have to there. I think im hooked on Wingate U, near Charlotte, I get to major in teaching, minor in performance, primary in piano, secondary in organ. Students live in apartments there, for the same proice as the residence hall. Hopefull I can pull on some scholarships. I wanna go on to get my masters at ECU and Doctorate from ND or CatholicU or both from UNCG(ppl could call me "doc" someday),doc told me today that I could go anywhere and do anything I wanna do, and I dont think that involves staying in the triad,theres a whole world out there for me, . Im glad at least I have that figured out. Now for the good stuff of christmas goodies, whats everyone getting??...My mom gave me a note on Friday that I had an appointment, and to come home first. I got home about noon and there sat a brand new black piano, I was in a state of shock, cuz i would never have guessed. I gotta start getting on here more. An update for me, cheers please. Only 3 more days of summer b4 the senioritis starts to kick in. This has been a great summer, Ive been to the gym almost everyday and lost about 30 pounds, and weightlifting helps that too. This summer has been a busy one for me, lots of church, and lots of weddings. We have 7 new kittens living in our basement, we rescued a stray living up at my parents business, and brought her home so we could protect her kittens. Thinking alot about college lately, I still cant knock any choices out, im still stuck with 3 possibilities that I like equally. I went to the summer music camp at UNCG, gave me a great chance to live there, eat there, and spend the day in the music building, I met tons of new people, and lots of hot band chicks lol. I got to meet some of the faculty members, and they let me play on the grand hall organ, I get to go visit the other 2 places this year, sit through classes, have some organ lessons, and get a good feel for those campuses. I have a feeling this is gonna be a great year, stuff has changed for the good, and I'm excited. I'm gonna make time to update live journal, and not as much as myspace, its turning into a popularity contest, and I'm kinda sick of it. All for now, lots to do today...More later....

Hey all, sorry for the long delays, but ive been goin through a lot of stuff lately, school and stuff like that. I think im trying to do too much, nothins goin right. Im still doin my job at OLG in greensboro, 3 masses a weekend. I have a few weddings that im playing for in the upcoming months. Im starting to get my music ready for my UNCG audition next year. I cant wait for spring break, and better yet, summer 06, maybe I can take some time to get life back "in order", its been suckish lately, I cant wait for this school year to be over and done with. First, since I havent been able to update in awhile, I got to play the huge new organ at UNCG and I got to go on a tour of the music building, I have good sources for all this stuff, our trumpet player at church goes to UNCG and he can get keys for anything he wants to, so I definately think that UNCG is where I wanna go to college. In other news MERRY CHRISTMAS. I survived my first midnight mass at OLG (and all the craziness that went along with it) It was a lot of hard work and preparation, but the celebration was amazing, so all my hard work certainly paid off. First I had to do the childrens pageant at 3:30 then the 6:00 mass, then I went home to see my parents and my grandmother and have dinner before I had to go back to play again. We used our new Yamaha Clavinova digital piano during our prelude concert so we had lots of different sounds harpsichord, guitars etc...The concert was the easiest part, then it was up to the loft for the grand procession led by Handel's messiah, which is the craziest thing I have ever done on the organ, but that went extremely well (seeing as our final rehearsal was horrible, I have always heard that a bad rehearsal equals a superior performance, and that was certainly true. I dont think I have ever played the organ that loud before, I figured I would blast people out of the church, but the director said I was fine, so w/e. Im glad I have today (Christmas day) off from playing.
Its morning and nobodys up but me, so I havent opened anything yet, so you will prolly hear from me again today sometime.

Hey. Well im back from the retreat...It was truly one of the best experiences of my life..I made lots of new friends, and got closer to old friends..We came up with a great theme for the freshman retreat "lol" Live out loud..we decided to do stations with different websites...should be really cool..Im looking forward to this year, being a role model to the school, and just working with my new "family", ppl might call that crazy, but you had to be there, thats obviously what the retreat is for, to make us like a "family" or a "team". And last nights 3 hour prayer session proves that without a doubt...Pray for Josh..More later...DrewO

Hey, Fun time last night..went to the mall with some ppl, ran into hannah taylor and her friend Brett (awesome dude). When we left it was raining really hard, and lightening alot, so I sat in the parking lot and waited awhile before I took Jess home, then Kieran and I went to McDonalds, and I stayed at his house for awhile before I came home.
